The Tahoe Maritime Museum (TMM) will hold a Wooden Paddle Board Build Course daily from June 1 to 10, 2013.
The location will be in Incline Village and students will be supplied with all necessary tools. The course will use Chesapeake Light Craft Paddle Board Kits to construct either 12’6″ or 14′ paddle boards.
The boards are built from marine plywood using a stitch and glue method. There is limited space in the class and registration closes May 1st. Contact Katena to register at katena@tahoemaritime.org with your information, and what size board you would like to build.
Participants will choose from either the 12’6″ board (better for smaller paddlers, or the 14′ board (better for larger paddlers). We can help you pick the right board for you. These boards are great for touring or even racing as they each fit in common race categories.
