Kelly Cassidy Sculptor Tahoe CultureThe annual Tahoe Art League (TAL) Artist Studio Tour takes place every August.

South Lake Tahoe is home to many accomplished artists like Kelly Cassidy shown here, who is a member of the Tahoe Art League dedicated to promoting fine art and art education in South Lake Tahoe since 1964.

Along the free TAL studio tour you’ll find fine art by local artists in a variety of art mediums including watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, silk painting, photography, and sculpture.

A_KathrynAbel Tahoe CultureAttendees can meet local artists in South Lake Tahoe locations to talk with them and view their sculpture, oils, watercolors, dye on silks, drawings, photography, jewelry and related works. Art works will be for sale. Some artists will do demonstrations of their specialty.

The tour is self-guided and free; a map will guide attendees from one location to another throughout the day. Pick up maps online or at TAL Art Center, 3062 Highway 50, South Lake Tahoe, CA.

The Tahoe Art League was formed in 1964. TAL is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting fine art and art education in the community.
