As an academic community of artists, Sierra Nevada College continues its tradition of offering summer art workshops.

To foster an interdisciplinary approach to visual practice, a variety of summer workshops given by nationally known ceramists, glass artists, painters, sculptors, printmakers, digital artists, photographers, paper makers, jewelers, and more will be held at the college through July.

The Fine Arts department at Sierra Nevada College holds its Annual Summer Art Workshops May through July every year.

On Tuesday night at 7pm each week during the workshops, free “Meet the Artist” lectures take place in the Prim Library, immediately followed by an informal reception in the Tahoe Gallery.

Students ages 16 and up, can take workshops for personal enrichment or college credit. Click here for the full schedule of offerings and registration.
