Our favorite local dancer, Ann Thennes, aka the Mountain Gypsy is holding two dance workshops to help us open to our Sacred Dance, learning its purpose and place in our lives.
You will be dancing in a sacred, supportive sanctuary. Women from all walks of life gathering together, dancing in this time honored ancient way.
Ann describes the workshops:
“To learn to use sacred dance as our compass, our guide, our crystal ball. Keeping our connection to spirit, the elements, the seasons, Mother earth, to ourselves, our souls open and clear. Sacred dance is a tangible way to retrieve and dance the story of our bones. To teach and guide us to be in our body. Regardless of our gifts or limitations. To align with our instinctual selves. In these workshops the energies of winter will be our grounding root, as we work with our sacred dance towards the balancing of light during the spring equinox.”
