Plein Air Exhibit at North Tahoe ArtsArtists will be painting en plein air, or in the open air, at local venues as part of the North Lake Tahoe Plein Air that happens every September.

Participating artists will gather to paint the breathtaking scenery of North Lake Tahoe, and organized Paint-Outs will take place throughout the North Lake Tahoe for artists to gather and paint local landscapes. You may spot artists painting along the lake shore, in scenic valleys or blooming meadows.

After a week of painting the scenery of North Lake Tahoe “en plein air,” in the open air,  the participating artists will select their best pieces to display and compete.

The Artists Reception and Collectors Party offers the only opportunity to see the entire competition art show and purchase the best of the best.
