While costumes are not mandatory, you may look out of place without one. Throughout the weekend a variety of activities take place on the Pope and Baldwin Estates—vintage car shows, wandering musicians and jugglers, a raffle, special sales of period appropriate items and sale of the annual Gatsby poster.

Shown here is the 2010 poster created by local artist Darcie Park that captures the essence of this classic nostalgic event.

Return to the 1920s and enjoy the Vintage Faire at the Pope Estate at the Tallac Historic Site. There will be antiques, vintage clothes and accessories, live music, interactive historic house tours, vintage auto rides, multiple vintage vendors, food, ice cream, cotton candy and old time kid’s games. Costumed tour guides will also be interpreting the history of the estates.  If you want the annual Great Gatsby Festival poster, you’d better arrive early.
