North Tahoe Arts presents Tahoe Landscapes, an exhibit highlighting the work of 12 local artists from October 1 to November 9.
An opening reception will take place Friday, October 3.
Tahoe Landscapes celebrates the beauty of the region through an eclectic mix of watercolors, oils, acrylics, and pastels that offer diverse styles and perspectives.
Featured artists are Andrea Carabetta, Audrey Dygert, Bunny Canahan, Carla Platt, Carol Grigus, Catherine Schaefer, Emilie Kashtan, Cynthia Martin Kroener, Deb Rose, Heidi Reeves, Jan Foss, and Andy Skaff.
The artists, all members of North Tahoe Arts, share a passion for art, light, and the unique beauty of Lake Tahoe. Yet each individual captures the subject from a unique point of view, and this show brings together the various perceptions for visitors to enjoy.

Featured paintings:
“Mitchel’s Cabin” is an acrylic by Emilie Kashtan, 18 x 24. It depicts a window overlooking Emerald Bay.
“The Pond” is an oil painting by Andy Skaff, 16 x 20. It depicts the meadow on highway 28 just before you get to highway 267.
