It’s part of Fire Prevention Week, and a LOT of fun.

Not only will you learn about making our homes safe with fire resistant construction demonstrations and smoke alarms, you get to shoot firehoses, and meet Smokey the Bear and Sparky the Fire Dog.

Saturday, October 4

South Lake Tahoe Airport

10am to 3pm

FREE

Sit in a fire truck, experience a wildfire, escape from the Smoke House, wear fire fighting equipment, squirt fire hoses, play in a bounce house, meet Smokey the Bear and Rescue Dogs, watch fire departments compete, learn about fire resistant construction, and enjoy a Kiwanis BBQ.
