Who is the Children’s Cabinet?
The Children’s Cabinet at Incline Village (CCIV) is a private, non-profit 501 ( c ) 3 organization, providing low/no cost services to children and families living along the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. Originally a satellite of Children’s Cabinet-Reno, CCIV began providing services to the Incline Village/Crystal Bay areas in 1991. With the expansion of CCIV’s services in this area, CCIV became an autonomous agency in March of 1995. CCIV’s mission is to Build Hope for Children and Families.
The Children’s Cabinet at Incline Village offers an array of community-based services tailored to the needs of its local residents. Education, mental health and youth development are primary areas of CCIV’s focus. In addition, CCIV offers case management and referrals, environmental education (through our summer camp program), parent education and dental education outreach. CCIV also operates a local thrift store offering new and gently used clothing, furniture and household items.
