Caring for the land and protecting biodiversity for today’s communities and future generations. Promote pure food that is local, seasonal and organically grown. Recognize the interdependence of people with one another and our environment.
Mixing (organic) Businesses with Pleasure is an all organic event designed to connect sustainable businesses with each other, as well as with community members looking for quality green products, services and information.
The Connection is designed as a venue for Conscious Businesses and Consumers who are interested in finding sustainable business and lifestyle alternatives. The event will feature 15 regional sustainable businesses ranging from organic food, to building, fashion, recreation and more. Each featured business will present products and services in a “Fifteen Minute Forum”, where they will provide information about the elements and benefits of their products.
The Connection will feature delicious organic appetizers prepared by Chef Jens Dressler of the Blue Angel Cafe accompanied by a variety of sustainable wines and the featured Organic brew, Truckee River Red.
There will also be a Gorgeous Green Fashion Show Fashion Show. Clothing, jewelry and more will be provided by Amelia Productions, Gaia-licious, Tahoe Hemp Company and Lakai/DVS.
