TAL Open Studio Tour Sept 6-7

Back by popular demand.
It’s the TAL Open Studio tour, kicking off with a reception Sept 5th at Picchetti’s Winery.
Fourteen local artists will display their works at 11 private artist’s studios, open for the pubic to view and purchase fine art.
Featured artists include: Egon Klementi, Penny Shrawder, JoAnne Wood, Robert Schimmel, Robert Gutknecht, Yasmin A. Sayyed, Tera Martinez, Dixie Murnane, Lois Loveless, Donna Reid and Nina Major.
Of special interest will be the artwork at the Tahoe Keys chalet of Irmgard Otto where she and her granddaughter, Corrie Francis, will give the public a glimpse at how a grandmother and grandaughter can mutually inspire each other’s creativity.
On Friday, September 5th, the public is welcome to preview a sampling of the artwork and meet the Studio Tour artists at a reception at Picchetti’s Winery, 3135 Harrison Ave., from 6pm to 8pm.
JoAnne Wood won first prize in the August Art Contest for her watercolor, “A Taste of Tahoe.” On September 6th and 7th, JoAnne Wood will join Penny Shrawder in welcoming the public to view their extensive collection of fine art in Shrawder’s newly remodeled studio, as participants in the South Tahoe Artists Studio Tour.
