Raising Monet for the Arts
Art Sale & Silent Auction Fundraiser
August 29
Tahoe City
North Tahoe Arts is calling on artists and art collectors to donate artwork for “Raising Monet for the Arts,” a sale and silent auction taking place August 29 in Tahoe City. If you’re ready to part with any artwork from your home, office, or studio, please donate it to help North Tahoe Arts fulfill its mission of supporting the arts throughout the North Tahoe and Truckee communities.
Donations of all types of art will be accepted - framed or unframed, new or gently used, two or three-dimensional - until August 15 at the North Tahoe Art Center next to the Fire Station in Tahoe City (380 North Lake Boulevard).
If necessary, arrangements can be made to have donations picked up. A tax receipt will be provided for each item received, and all proceeds will benefit North Tahoe Arts, which relies primarily on fundraisers and contributions to operate its art center and provide numerous programs and services to the community. Activities include monthly exhibits at the Art Center, Tahoe ARTour, ARTisan Shop, ART in Public Places, and YouthART Camp.
“The ‘Raising Monet’ event is a phenomenal opportunity for local artists to display their work before a large audience,” said fundraising co-chair Anne Chadwick. “It’s also a great chance to circulate artwork within the community while supporting a worthwhile cause.”
Mark your calendar for the August 29 sale and silent auction.
