Creative Expression Inspired by Fire:
When Rick was out riding his bike around the world for the past 3 years he discovered so much; about himself, and the invisible acts of kindness and unconditional love that was bestowed upon him by every country he visited.
When Rick returned to South Shore this summer, he wanted to share his newfound appreciation in humanity by donating two of his photos from his epic journey to the Tahoe: Lost & Found Art Auction.
(Art will be sold at live auction, Sept 19 at Valhalla, with % of proceeds going to the fire-related community projects.)

About Rick:
Rick currently lives in South Lake Tahoe although the world is his home.
With 15 years of daily newspaper experience, photojournalist and writer Rick Gunn has traveled throughout the world, bringing back unique photos and stories from around the planet.
His photos have been published in People Magazine, USA Today, the Los Angeles Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Sacramento Bee, Nevada Magazine, Cerca Magazine and several books.
An avid traveler, adventure-cyclist and ethno-photographer, Gunn has produced countless photo essays while cycling across Zanzibar, Tanzania, Central China, Thailand, Ecuador and Indonesia as well as treks in Nepal, Malaysia, Europe and along the borders of Afghanistan and Pakistan in Western China. He has been rescued by Muslim clerics in China, charged by yaks in Nepal, bitten by monkeys in India, attached by leaches in Malaysia and robbed at gunpoint in South America.
