Picking Up the Pieces by Natalie Cusson

“Picking Up the Pieces” by Natalie Cusson.

Creative Expression Inspired by Fire:

After the fire, Natalie took a picture of the destruction left in its wake.

Beyond the charred remains, Natalie was moved by the relentless heroic acts of the firefighters and the strength and resilience of the community.

She has entered “Picking Up the Pieces” to the Tahoe: Lost & Found art project to eloquently capture this profound historical event.

You really must see this in person to get the full impact. Natalie lists the fire stats on the bottom of the framed piece using newspaper clippings taken from the paper the week of the fire.

Auction Item:
(Art will be sold at live auction, Sept 19 at Valhalla, with % of proceeds going to the fire-related community projects.)
