This place really lives up to its name.
Wide Awake Conscious Café.
If you’ve been there, you know what we mean.
From the minute you walk in, you feel at home.
They consciously try (and actually do) deliver an enjoyable cafe experience from the ambiance to the staff to the food.
The menu is entirely organic, and entirely diverse which will leave you yearning for more and your taste buds fully satiated.
Besides the huge variety of organic teas and coffees (all fair trade) made at their coffee bar, the breakfast menu is very different than traditional café fare. Like the sun dried tomato and basil frittata to the chantrelle mushroom and provolone crepes. The crepes are their specialty.
For lunch and dinner they serve an eclectic array of salads (try the greek…), curries, bruschetta (goat cheese, figs and roasted hazelnuts) and Tapas featuring asparagus, eggplant, halibut and rosemary chicken …just to name a few.
While they don’t have a liquor license yet, the food and atmosphere make up for it.
The staff is definitely conscious of customer service and details from the music, to water spiked with oranges, cucumbers and rosemary, to free Internet service, and the wide open seating layout.
