What an interesting mix of art and culture.

Fine art festivals, Latino Day, comedy, independent films, Gypsy Folk Rock, acoustic night, theatre, Native American Arts Festival, and open mic nights.

Good thing July is a long month.

    Local’s Night Concert
    Valhalla Boathouse Theatre - $10 general admission, $5 children
    The Local’s Night Series gives local bands the chance to perform at the historical venues.
  • Wednesdays - Fridays, July 2 through August 15
    10:30am - 12 Noon
    Art for All Ages Art Lessons
    Here’s your chance to be creative and experiment. Enjoy a variety of art projects specifically designed to unleash your creative spirit at the inspirational setting of Valhalla.

    Independent Film Night
    Valhalla Boathouse Theatre $5/$3
    This season’s film series focuses on independent films and the film makers. Presenting the films will be someone involved in the making of the film.
  • Friday, July 4 - 6:00pm
    Gordy Ohliger and The Bayou Boys Americana Concert
    Valhalla Boathouse Theatre - $18/$15/$5
    The Banjologist Gordy Ohliger starts off the evening with The Bayou Boys headlining.
  • Saturday, July 5 - 7:30pm
    Tip of the Iceberg- R.A.B. Masque Theatre
    Valhalla Boathouse Theatre - $18/$15/$5
    R.A.B. returns to the Valhalla Boathouse Theatre for their original theatrical performance, “The Tip of the Iceberg: A Globally Warm Comedy.”

    Latino Culture Festival - $10/$5
    A celebration of the Latino heritage with live music, games, food and fun.

    Tahoe Improv Players
    Valhalla Boathouse Theatre $10/$5
    They have been improvising scenes and making people laugh for 14 years. Don’t miss it.

    What the Butler Saw Comedy

    Wild, risqué, and ferociously playful, Joe Orton’s classic farce about the mental health profession has become one of the seminal works of modern comedy.

    Handful of Luvin’ is a ’strong established crowd pleaser’ (Seattle Weekly). Each member brings a unique sound to the stage, formulating an utterly beautiful frenzy.

    Wa She Shu It Deh Native American Arts Festival
    Valhalla Estate - Free
    The weekend includes a basket weaving competition, native film festival, traditional dance, native artists and performers, hand game tournament, raffle prizes, and great food!
  • Tuesday, July 29 - 7:30pm
    Blue Turtle Seduction
    Valhalla Boathouse Theatre - $15/$12/$5
    The highly successful Blue Turtle Seduction returns to their home of South Lake Tahoe to bring their fresh jams and high energy to our stage.
  • Wednesday, July 30 - 7:30pm
    Bare Bones Open Mic Night
    Valhalla Grand Hall - Free
    The Bare Bones Open Mic Nights provide a creative stage for musicians, writers, comedians, and all other performing artists wanting to be seen and heard.
