Slow Rollers fund Bikes for Children Program

Their goal is simple:
To ride bikes and have a good time.
The Slow Rollers Bicycle Club of Lake Tahoe.
“We enjoy life at a more relaxed pace, hosting and attending various social and bike events in the Lake Tahoe, CA/NV area.”
Not only do they have fun, but all the money they raise at their events and merchandise sales goes to the Bikes for Children Program. The program buys new bikes for underprivileged children and local youth groups. In 2006, the program’s first year, the Slow Rollers bought 5 bikes.
They say becoming a member is a slow process. Just roll into any event and ask for more information.
