tahoelongboards.jpgDid you know…Tahoe City has its own skateboard manufacturer?

Tahoe Longboards, locally owned and operated out of NS, is committed to keeping the Tahoe riding style hangin out there. Skaters know the benefit of cross training for our winter sports. And, it’s just plain fun.

Check out their online store, or visit any of their local shops in North Shore and South Shore like Dave’s, Porter’s and Shoreline.

And, there’s an event to celebrate TL and to support a good cause. Fighting Breast Cancer.

Skate the Lake

Skate The Lake is a 26 mile longboard relay skating event along the North Shore bike path that takes place in late September.

Skaters of all abilities get together and shred the bike path to increase breast cancer awareness. Started by two Tahoe locals who shared the experience of having their mom’s survive breast cancer.
