Ski passes have gone to the dogs (and cats).
They want to help their favorite charities.
For just $25, your pets can get their very own Squaw Valley Season Pass, available June 2008.**
Besides bragging rights, every pet pass sold goes to raise money for the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe and Squaw Valley Avalanche Dog Rescue.
Pet owners can bring their critter to Squaw’s Special Tickets office to have the pet’s picture taken and printed on his or her very own Squaw season pass. The passes are $25 and the proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe and Squaw Valley Avalanche Dog Rescue.
** Fine Print: Must be accompanied by owner.
Also, all Squaw pet passholders receive 10% off dog and cat treats at Tails by the Lake in the Village at Squaw and 10% off dog and cat accessories at High Camp Bath & Tennis Sport Shop and The North Face.
The Village and Squaw’s hiking trails are dog-friendly, and in the summer leashed dogs and obedient pets (parrots, cats, ferrets, etc.) can ride the Cable Car.
