Raise cones and awareness at the Ice Cream Social on July 10th in Brickelltown.
The event is a fundraiser for the Truckee North Tahoe Think Local First Program co-hosted by the Sierra Business Council and a highlight of Pedal There Thursdays.
All ages are invited to enjoy Tahoe Creamery Ice Cream, and local musical artist Brandt Larson.

Other highlights of this zero waste event include bike valet parking and bike drive with Green Bikes North Tahoe, a bike share organization that is blossoming in the area as well as booths for the High Sierra Rural Alliance and Truckee Trails. The town of Truckee and the Public Utilities District will be giving away blue recycling bags and other goodies.
Ice cream proceeds benefit Think Local First (TLF), a program whose implementation has been piloted throughout the Sierra Nevada by the Sierra Business Council. Think Local First celebrates community giving, access to quality local food, thriving independent businesses, living sustainably, art, culture, and getting involved throughout the North Shore and Truckee.
