Live Performances and Art take over Valhalla in June

If you haven’t been to Valhalla for a concert, play, art show or cultural event, you’re missing a Tahoe treasure.
The 2008 season line up has expanded to showcase more local talent from artists, musicians, writers, comics and performers.
Mark your calendar for the following June events at the Valhalla Arts, Music & Theatre Festival.

- Tuesday, June 10 at 7:30pm
Local’s Night Concert featuring A Class Act
Valhalla Boathouse Theatre - $10 general admission, $5 childrenThe first Local’s Night features a duo that’s been playing together for over twenty years. A Class Act is comprised of Rich Dart and Dan Thomas, both performing as lead and background alternatively with three instruments between the two of them.

Solid Air Folk-rock Concert
Boathouse Theatre - $15/$12/$5Solid Air is a roots-based original music group based in the Bay Area, hailed by the S.F. guardian as “Flying Burritos meet Richard & Linda Thompson.”

Acoustic Local’s Night
Valhalla Grand Hall - $10/$5Come out to enjoy and support local talent. The Local’s Night Series gives local bands the chance to perform at the historical venues.

A Benefit for Tahoe: Lost & Found

Divas & Decadence Benefit Concert
Boathouse Theatre - $50/$40An evening of entertainment and sweet decadence awaits you as this benefit concert features three wonderful songstresses, delectable desserts, and a silent art auction.
