Wednesday, June 18, at The Loft at the Blue Angel Café.
This party kicks off the summer-long series of events, promotions, local art and our own brand of Tahoe culture to raise money to replace the library books lost in the Angora fire and a burn-area landmark.
The Underground Artists will be on hand too.
The Lake Mother illustration (shown here) was completed by Kristen Schwartz the day the Angora Fire was contained. A limited edition of Lake Mother prints will be sold to help raise money.
Barbara Wesson, local potter, and Melissa Lanitis Gregory, mixed media artist, will also present a selection of their art work.

It’s free and everyone is invited.
Light appetizers will be served including a 3-Alarm Sun Dried Tomato dip, Smoked Salmon dip, spicy “Drop and Roll” sausage rolls and a “Fire House” salad with seasonal berries, fresh goat cheese tossed with basil orange vinaigrette.
$5 suggested donation. Donations and proceeds from the art sold will go to the Tahoe: Lost & Found Fund.
Happy Hour drink specials will be served all night and a special Tahoe: Lost & Found $7.95 pasta dinner that includes choice of 3 different pastas, garlic bread and salad.
