Valhalla is starting a new tradition.
Local’s Night Concerts.
The Valhalla Arts, Music & Theatre Festival is giving local bands the chance to perform at Valhalla this summer, the quintessential venue for live performances on South Shore.
June Local’s Night Concert: A Class Act
Tuesday, June 10

Valhalla Boathouse Theatre at the Tallac Historic Site
2 miles north of the Y in South Lake Tahoe on Hwy 89
$10 general admission, $5 children
The first Locals Night features a duo that’s been playing together for over twenty years. A Class Act is comprised of Rich Dart and Dan Thomas, both performing as lead and background alternatively with three instruments between the two of them.
Rich Dart earned his musical beginnings by forming a successful band in the Pacific Northwest and has gone on to be a sound technician for such groups as Dr. Hook and Elvin Bishop. Dan Thomas started his musical career while serving in the military. His country western group performed over 20 shows a month all over Europe. The two met here in Lake Tahoe and A Class Act was born.
