Tahoe Java is more than a tasteful local gem.
It’s helping to revive the Swiss Chalet Village.
Local art. Stuff to read. Great selection of baked goods and prepared dishes. And, South Shore’s own mountain grown coffee, Alpen Sierra.
And, they feature Blåbär….the hot blueberry drink that’s all the rage in Sweden. And, free Wireless Internet for those who must check!
New owner, Judi Sabo, really expanded the menu so you can eat all day (OK until 2pm):
- Breakfast bagels and sandwiches, scrams, burritos and waffles.
- 7 Panini sandwiches including spinach pesto and a muskrat ham and turkey. hmmmmm
- Wraps and the famous TJ House Salad packed with artichoke hearts, kalamata olives, roasted red peppers, turkey, bacon, and more!
- Lattes, Mochas and an assortment of hot drinks including the Gunbarrel and Steamer - South Shore classics.
