Sailing on Lake Tahoe is one of our greatest indulgences.
The lake is considered sanctuary by many.
While plenty of sailors have already been out on the water, the “official” opening days are being celebrated by the North and South clubs on May 24 and 25.
The Tahoe Yacht Club, established in 1925, is North Shore’s original sailing club. It offers a full schedule of events and races like the Monday night Laser fleet races starting May 26 and Wednesday Beer Can races starting May 28. Click here for TYC sail info.
