Local naturalist and wildflower author Laird Blackwell will take the audience on a visual journey through the months of Tahoe wildflower blooms highlighted in his new book, “Tahoe Wildflowers: A Month-by-Month Guide”.

About the Author:
Laird Blackwell received his Ph.D from Stanford University in 1974 in Education and Psychology and has been Professor at Sierra Nevada College for 26 years, 16 of those years as Chair of the Humanities Department. He teaches courses in psychology, literature, philosophy, and mythology and field courses in wildflowers at Sierra Nevada College.
