Moms are taking it to the slopes.

1st Annual Moms Kicking Butt Ski Day.

April 12 @ Alpine Meadows.

After witnessing his mom, Lynn, fight cancer for 2 years and kicking it, Karl Hasz wanted to do more for every woman and family going through the same ordeal.

Like many families, skiing is the passion they share their entire lives. Here’s a photo of Lynn and Karl skiing last April after she kicked cancer.

While Lynn is one of the fortunate ones to survive, Karl is so grateful to have his favorite ski buddy in his life that he created a ski day and auction to help raise awareness and funds for the breast cancer research and education programs of the Northern California Cancer Center.

Saturday, April 12

• Skiing at Alpine Meadows
  10 am to 4pm - includes BBQ and dancing to BLVD on the Sun Deck!
• Dinner & Auction at PlumpJack Squaw Valley Inn
  6pm Cocktails and Silent Auction
  7pm Dinner and Live Auction
