Scott Terrell from the Truckee Donner PUD will give an overview of ways to save energy and water, and discuss Truckee Donner PUD’s conservation programs.
About Scott
Scott received a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Planning and Masters in Energy and Environmental Education from Humboldt State University. He has been in his current position with the Truckee Donner Public Utility District since 1992. The main focus of Scott’s career has been in energy, water efficiency, renewable energy, green building and sustainability. This year he received a Regional Sustainability Vision award from the Northern Nevada Chapter of Architect’s Institute of America (AIA). He has served on a number of resource-conserving and sustainability non-profit groups and committees local and statewide.
SiGBA is a local non-profit group of like-minded individuals and businesses committed to promoting a “Live Green Build Green” philosophy. As the Sierra’s leading green building resource and community education organization, SiGBA’s mission is to educate and promote effective environmental design and building practices in the Sierra Nevada communities.
