80’s Metal Bash @ Squaw March 29

In 1980’s heavy metal band style.

Mike and Dave Hatchett, snowboard film legends, are celebrating their birthday with their own band Fortress.

Prizes go to the best 1980’s metal rockers, so get dressed.

Doors open at 7 pm. Show starts at 9 pm.

Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. On sale at Porter’s in Tahoe City and Truckee (cash only) and The North Face Store in Squaw Valley.

Formed by snowboard film pioneers Mike and Dave Hatchett, FORTRESS has been delivering explosive performances of original and cover music for nearly twenty years. Songs include covers from Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and originals inspired by these bands.

Fronting the band is Jeff Martin from Racer X and Whitfield Crane from Ugly Kid Joe. Together their vocal talents will shatter your beer mug. On the evening of Saturday, March 29 FORTRESS members Mike and Dave Hatchett (guitar) will be joined by local luminaries Matt Reardon (singer/songwriter) and Shane Anderson (vocals), and a slew of other guest musicians including Klaus Eichstadt from Ugly Kid Joe and Jimmy Degrasso, formerly of Megadeth.
