They say it’s as easy as water skiing.
And, it won’t tear up your back or knees as much as snowboarding and skiing.
Monoskiing.
It definitely gets some strange looks out there, but we have several very good monoskiers in Tahoe like Timber and Tom who ski mono Heavenly.
They’ll have lots of company when more than 100 monoskiers from around the world come to South Shore for the 9th annual Monopalooza, February 28 - March 2.
They’ll be monoskiing at Kirkwood, Sierra and Heavenly. And holding crazy events like the wheel barrow race, 3-legged race, skate race, pole race and the Chinese Downhill race.
And if you’re lucky, you may be able to test one out and see if you can be carving it up in just a few hours.
