Hosted by the Sierra Nevada Alliance and Patagonia@Heavenly, and sponsored by the South Yuba River Citizen’s League (SYRCL) and Patagonia, the Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival On Tour combines award winning environmental and adventure films with the energy of local activism.
Featured Films:
- Oil and Water Project
Two kayakers embark on an “Endless Summer” style 35,000 km road trip from Alaska to Argentina in a retro fitted Japanese fire truck without a single drop of petroleum.
- Meat Jim
Two college vegetarians think they can transform the eating habits of a local cowboy, but the vibrant vaquero teaches them a few things.

A group of Tahoe skiers follow in the footsteps of pro skier Alison Gannett in search of a greener ski bum lifestyle, with stunning footage of the Swiss Alps and Lake Tahoe.

A fast-paced, fact-filled look at the underside of our production and consumption patterns, with a special focus on the United States.
