If you’ve always wanted to jump in the lake in the Winter, you’re
crazy in luck!
Don’t miss the Polar Bear Plunge, February 9 in South Shore.
And it’s for a great cause.
Each swimmer/jumper/plunger (what would you call yourself besides generous and crazy?), must bring $100 in donations before you get to jump in the LAKE. And, each plunger gets a free t-shirt (dry we hope).
The money helps to fund year-round training for the Special Olympics Team Tahoe athletes.
Before the big plunge, there will be a Costume Contest for best Polar Bear Outfit and live music, hot coffee and pastries. Yes!
- Where: Ski Run Marina, South Lake Tahoe
- When: Saturday, Feb 9
- Time: 11 am registration
- What: Polar Plunge Costume Contest, live music, pastries and hot coffee + The Plunge @ NOON
- After party at Chevy’s Fresh Mex
And, don’t miss the Special Olympics Regional Winter Games at Heavenly and Spooner Lake, Feb 18 - 19.
