But, even if you snowshoe you can enter this tour - it’s NOT a race.
Tahoe Rim Tour is a 30 Kilometer (that’s 18.64 miles) Race (tour) from North Tahoe High School (through Tahoe Cross Country Ski Area) to Northstar.
This is the first year for this event.
There are CLASSIC, SKATE, or SNOWSHOE Technique Divisions. So don’t worry.
When: Sunday, January 27
Should I train? You’d better! Even if you are snowshoeing this is the real deal.

Ski from Tahoe City to Northstar on Wednesday, January 23rd
Tahoe Cross Country and Northstar are linking up on Wednesday, January 23rd to allow folks to ski groomed trails from one resort to the other.
Preview the upcoming Tahoe Rim Tour by buying one trail pass from either resort and heading out. You’ll have to provide your own transportation back this time, though.

And of course. In classic North Shore style, this event is a fund raiser for the FAR WEST NORDIC JUNIOR SKI PROGRAM.
