Snow Angels We all love our ski resorts because they give us access to our winter playgrounds. And, many of us work there.

Now, there are more reasons to love them.

Check out what the 3 South Shore resorts are doing for those impacted by the Angora Fire.

Heavenly:

Heavenly and Vail Resorts donated $75,000 to the Angora Fire Fund with money generated from ski pass sales. To get your Heavenly pass, click here.

Chair Lift Sales Donated to Fire Fund

$16,000 was donated to the Angora Fire Fund generated by the sale of the Heavenly Olympic chairs over Labor Day weekend.

Kirkwood:

The Kirkwood Community Association, resort and individuals have raised almost $20,000 for Kirkwood employees impacted by the fire. Homeowners also opened their residences to employees needing temporary lodging, and a clothing and food drive provided needed items for the evacuation shelter in South Lake Tahoe.
