You don’t want to miss this party. Boreal is trucking in 3,000 cubic feet of snow so riders can jib terrain park features, watch the latest ski and snowboard films before top freestyle skiers and snowboarders compete at night.
Gates open at 2 pm and the Public Jib Arena at 3 pm. A season pass or just $1 buys unlimited access to the mini-stall wall. Movies starts at 7 pm with renowned ski film producer Eric Iberg and film stars Andy Mahre and Pep Fujas scheduled to introduce their ground-breaking ski film, Idea. Snowboard movie makers Blank Paper Studios’ latest film In Short will show immediately after.
The main event is at 8:15 p.m. when 30 of the world’s best professional skiers and snowboarders jam the custom-built 30-step staircases made of six rail and box options with the Red Bull bus feature at the bottom.
A tent village will have food and free product and DJ Silver Boom Box Thief will spin live music during the competition and after party.
