A local’s favorite. This casual bar/restaurant offers some unique and varied wines and beer, great grilled sandwiches (try the ‘Amsterdam’), and regular live music for the stay-out-past-10pm crowd.
The distance from South Lake Tahoe proper keeps the un-hip at bay (if you can call local climbers, mountain bikers and contractors hip), but for those looking for something a little different and off the beaten path should make the effort. It’s well worth it.
